About Us

Project Karigar which was started in 2020 was born out of a passion to honour India’s ageless tradition of craftsmanship and to ensure that their relevance is sustained in today’s world.

The online platform – one of its kind in India – effectively provides India’s peerless artisans with a platform to showcase their extraordinary talent and to connect with lovers of their craft while introducing a whole new generation of people to our country’s beautiful legacy.
We are well on our way with a solemn goal to provide economic upliftment of the rural artisans that are involved in preserving the heritage of the handicrafts industry in India.

Our vision is to maximize the use of the handicraft in urban India and overseas countries and let the ancient traditional artisan know their international importance through their widespread talent in the easiest way.

Meet The Founder

Armaan Tekriwal A 15 year-old student who had been deeply moved by the plight faced by the local artisans of India decided to launch Project Karigar as an attempt to help them in him own way possible. He hopes to create and support sustainable livelihoods for India’s 10 million weaver and artisan community.
